Description

Chwastox Complex 260 EW is a herbicide in the form of a liquid for preparing an aqueous emulsion (emulsion, oil in water), applied foliarly, intended for the control of dicotyledonous weeds in winter wheat and on lawns, sports fields and golf courses. According to the HRAC classification, the active substances are classified in group O. The agent is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers and hand-held sprayers (including knapsacks).

Action on weeds:

Chwastox Complex 260 EW is a selective agent with systemic action. It is taken up by leaves and moved to the roots of weeds, causing their deformation, and then inhibition of growth and death. The first symptoms on sensitive weeds appear after 1-2 days after spraying. Weed growth is inhibited and weeds die after approx. 3-4 weeks. The agent combats weeds in the early stages of development most effectively. Weather favorable for plant development enhances the herbicidal effect of the agent.

• Sensitive weeds (Dose 2.0 – 3.0 l/ha): common chickweed, purple deadnettle, scentless mayweed, field poppy, field thistle, field speedwell, cleavers, knotweed, field chamomile, common chamomile, common shepherd’s purse.
• Medium – sensitive weeds: field violet.
• Sensitive weeds (Dose 2.5 l/ha): ribwort plantain, common chickweed, greater chickweed, field buttercup, sharp buttercup, hairy hawkweed, white clover, small-headed clover, red clover, field thistle, green umbilicus, rough-headed cowslip, Canadian emmer, cleavers, common hornwort, field horsetail, curly sorrel, field sorrel, obtuse sorrel, common sorrel, common shepherd’s purse, narrow-leaved vetch.
  Moderately sensitive weeds: common plantain, common mugwort, purple deadnettle, dandelion.
• Resistant weeds: ground ivy, common yarrow, common nettle, field bindweed, field speedwell, Persian speedwell, germander speedwell.
• Sensitive weeds (Dose 3.5 l/ha): ribwort, common plantain, common mugwort, common chickweed, greater chickweed, field buttercup, sharp buttercup, purple deadnettle, hairy hawkweed, white clover, small-headed clover, red clover, dandelion, field thistle, green bluntweed, common nettle, rough goosefoot, field speedwell, Canadian emmer, cleavers, common hornwort, field horsetail, curly sorrel, field sorrel, obtuse sorrel, common sorrel, common shepherd’s purse, narrow-leaved vetch.
• Medium resistant weeds: common yarrow, Persian speedwell.
• Resistant weeds: ground ivy, field bindweed, germander speedwell.

NOTE! Sensitive weeds after application of the agent at a dose of 3.5 l/ha and performing 2 treatments during the growing season: ground ivy, cranesbill and field bindweed.

Application of the agent:

Winter wheat

• Date of application: Apply in spring after vegetation starts from the beginning of the tillering phase to the 2nd node phase (BBCH 21-32).
• Maximum dose for a single application: 3.0 l/ha.
• Recommended dose for a single application: 2.0 – 3.0 l/ha.
• Recommended amount of water: 200 – 300 l/ha.
• Recommended spraying: medium droplet.
• Maximum number of treatments during the growing season: 1.

Lawns, sports fields, golf courses

• Date of application: Use the product during weather conditions favorable for plant growth, from spring to early autumn, when the air temperature is higher than 10°C. Apply the product to the entire lawn or only to weedy areas.
• Maximum dose for single use: 3.5 l/ha.
• Recommended dose for single use: 2.5 – 3.5 l/ha.

Use the higher of the recommended doses of the agent on weeds in older development stages and in the case of heavy weed infestation, especially with weeds such as: common plantain, small cranesbill, common mugwort, purple deadnettle, common nettle, field speedwell and field hornwort. In the case of heavy weed infestation, it may be necessary to perform a second treatment.

Maximum number of treatments in the growing season: 2.
Interval between treatments: at least 56 days.
Recommended amount of water: 200 – 500 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium-droplet.
